THE CANARY ISLANDS:Imagemap (2 Kb)
About the Artwork:
Tim Ashkar’s artistic vision is to reveal the beauty and humanity shared by all people. Ashkar spent a year studying with eminent Italian artist Judith Serbaroli, daughter of the equally distinguished artist Hector Serbaroli, learning his signature alla prima technique, in which artwork is created with only one layer of paint. Ashkar emphasizes inner beauty by painting women who are free of makeup, and denounces materialism by portraying them with minimal jewelry. Striving to craft images that will positively influence society, Ashkar has painted works for the Pickfair Mansion, murals for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Weekend of 1992, and fine art projects for the entertainment industry.
just some photos of paradise for you all.

This shot from space is very beautiful. There are two forest fires
burning this day, but still beautiful. The Islands are where my
father and his fathers all came from. Some people believe that
the Canaries are the remains of the lost city of Atlantis. I spent
a year + over there on the big island "Gran Canaria" with my
father prior to his death in 1986 and it was incredible. To this
day long to return to the islands and reunite with my
sister and brothers.
